Ownership Rules#
- ETH policy changes override this repository.
- Lab policy changes require the accountable owner.
- Tool/version changes require a primary source and, where practical, a smoke check on the stated platform.
- A page past its review date remains readable but must not be presented as freshly verified.
- Student confusion and recurring support errors are documentation defects to investigate, not automatically user error.
Escalation#
Open a documentation issue when sources conflict or a command cannot be tested. State the affected audience and safe interim behavior. Contact the lab owner directly for access, confidentiality, data-loss, or compute-policy incidents.
