Competencies#

You can:

  • assign an information owner and classify project data;
  • confirm GitHub, NAS, Euler, software, and guest-account requirements;
  • select the required passport endorsements for each project;
  • review unusual compute, storage, permission, and AI-tool requests;
  • distinguish ETH-wide rules from IDEAL Lab policy;
  • respond to credential, confidentiality, data-loss, and resource incidents;
  • plan handover and revoke unnecessary access at project completion;
  • maintain volatile documentation using primary sources and review dates.

Pass Criteria#

The researcher can begin without guessing about access, storage, data classification, AI tools, or compute policy. Exceptions are written, scoped, time-limited, and owned.
